Our Sacrifices...

Greetings Kinsmen,

If there is one thing that all of us can say, we have all had to sacrifice something for what we believe. Family, friends, homes, jobs, etc. All for following our Lord Jesus Christ. Before it is all over, we will have to sacrifice much much more. Christ tells us that we will be persecuted for following him. Who will be persecuting us?

Jude 1:4 "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ."

1 Thessalonians 2:14-15 "For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:"

Luke 21:12 "But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake."

You will notice that most so-called Christians are not being persecuted, we are! We, who are out here trying to reach the lost sheep. We are following God's commandments, and we are hated for it!

John 15:18 "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you."

There is some good news though.

Matthew 19:29 "And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life."

Luke 9:23-24 "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it."

So, Kinsmen, don't lose heart in these tough and trying days. Our Victory is assured; we just have to stay strong, keep praying, and work on reaching our people to what is going on. Praise YHVH!
